The first photo is my second choice. I loved the color of the photo, and I thought the diagonal lines were very appealing. I thought the repetition of the blue bars created an interesting contrast from the diagonal lines of the plant.
The second photo is my initial image. I stumbled upon the image in the window as I glanced at the wall. The immediate thing that struck me was the reflection of the clouds. I usually find that reflections lose some part of their uniqueness, but in this instance, the clouds seemed to accent the plant in the window. By far my favorite shot for the assignment.
